Eagerly searching for RAF veterans who experienced Anti-submarine warfare
Hi I am Frank Gairdner and I work for a Documentary productions company in Toronto Canada. Cream Productions (www.creamproductions.ca) is a leader in the field of factual entertainment, bringing unique expertise and decades of combined experience together to produce world-class programming for distinguished international clients. Since its inception in 2003, Cream has become internationally recognized for its award-winning factual series and specials.
We are currently at work, together with Darlow Smithson Productions in the UK, the Smithsonian Institute, National Geographic International and the Canadian Navy, on a 4 part series called Convoy: Battle of the Atlantic.
The broadcasters for this enlightening series will be the History Channel in Canada, National Geographic Channel in the US, and Channel 4 in England. Convoy: Battle of the Atlantic will be aired on an international level. In creating this program, we incorporate interviews with experts, archival film and photos, diaries, and recreations of events. Ideally, and most importantly for now, we would like to include first hand accounts from veterans who can reiterate their stories of Convoys and the relevant U-boat attacks.
We are eagerly searching for RAF veterans who experienced Anti-submarine warfare. Any information on veterans who experienced submarine patrols would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Frank fgairdner@creamproductions.ca
