Where have all the Gates gone. long time passing 04.06.07

Over the past few weeks we here at the Pembroke Dock Environmental Action Team have been receiving comments about the parking in and around the Dockyard.......so off we went to check things out and yes HGV Units were prolific parked in every space and all over the highways leading to the ferry terminal and dockyard facilities mostly I should say were obstructing the pavements. P(d)EAT is going to make this issue a priority, the town council has today advised us that discussion's have taken place between themselves the County Council and Milford Haven Port Authority to find a solution to the problem.....but as yet and not uncommonly no moves has yet been made to solve the illegal parking, and camping on our roads. We will use every means we can to improve the environment for all residents and lets not forget the the transport companies. We will push the Port Authority to establish facilities for the lads and lasses who drive the vehicles and move cargo's in and out of Pembroke Dock, and who without their skills the Port Authority would be unable to be so successful

The Old Railway Gate 04.06.07
This week has not been the best for our dear old Port Authority....this was picked up by the mole....P(d)EAT will also follow up this matter

Where have all the Gates gone. long time passing

Us MOLES are not known as defenders of your human heritage, but this MOLE has been getting concerned as to the proliferation of signs covering the Old Railway Gate into the Dockyard.....if this growth carries on will the whole of the wall become a graded and listed advertising hording.....come on Port Authority follow the rules and support the dock and take down the unsightly and apparently TEMPORARY signs and let the nice people of Pembroke Dock and their visitors see the gate in all its glory
