Hobbs Point gets further
clean by Keep Wales Tidy with the assistance of Neptune's Army
of Rubbish Cleaners and other volunteers on Saturday 17th May 2008
Hobbs Point sits on the
Cleddau Estuary, an area designated a Special Area of Conservation. Keep
Wales Tidy Fly-tipping Officer commented “The fly-tipping taking place
at Hobbs Point is having a negative impact on such an important
conservation area. It also detracts from the enjoyment of other water
users such as anglers and swimmers, who could get entangled with the
items lurking just below the surface.”
