Here we are January 8th
2007 ... Pembroke Dock Environmental Action Group in association
with Keep Wales Tidy arranged a litter pick on and around London Road in
conjunction with the local businesses. The litter pick is the opening of
o a new initiative involving the local community.

This wet and windy litter pick was controlled by Simon Preddy, Pride in
our Community Office and Fly Dipping Office with Keep Wales Tidy. We
were there to report this new initiative . Leading the Town Councils
presents was the clerk to Pembroke Dock Town Council clerk and
secretary of P(d)EAT Ian Jones along with your truly, Co-Ordinator of
the Pembroke Dock Community Web Project, volunteers from Mac Donald's (
she worked hard for two hours) and at times two members of staff from
Focus. The team did their best to start what must, we hope a continued
and sustained project. The Pembroke Dock Environment Action Team
has with the help of Simon from Keep Wales Tidy made an agreement
that the businesses in the area, Focus, Instore, McDonalds and Tesco
will on every Monday take part in a litter pick of the London Road area
so the visitors to our growing community see that Pembroke Dock is proud
and welcoming
Thank you all
