National Park Local Development Plan submitted

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority has submitted its Local Development Plan to the Welsh Assembly Government for examination.

An Authority spokesperson said: “Since we submitted our LDP in December, planning inspector Mr Barry Juniper has been appointed by the Planning Inspectorate to consider the soundness of our LDP. To bring the process further forward a pre-hearing meeting is anticipated in March with the public hearing commencing in April.

“Authority Members also agreed changes on December 14th 2009 in response to representations made throughout the consultation period. These particular changes can be found on the Authority’s website www.pcnpa.org.uk. Members of the public are welcome to make further representations only on these changes, which are available for comment until 5pm on Wednesday 10th February 2010.

“Comments made at this stage can only address these Proposed Changes. This is not an opportunity to add to previous representations, or to make new comments on parts of the Local Development Plan not subject to a change. The Authority will not make a response to these representations and the Inspector will only take into account representations relating to these advertised changes.”

Copies of the LDP documents, comprising the Deposit Plan, Sustainability Report (incorporating an Environmental Report), the Community Involvement Scheme, a Consultation Report, copies of representations and other supporting evidence may be viewed on the Authority’s website www.pcnpa.org.uk, at the Park Authority offices in Llanion Park, Pembroke Dock, or on CD at the libraries listed below.
