Pembroke Dock Bicentenary Group seek professional help

Pembroke Dock is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the creation of the Town in 2014. A group has been formed to organise and manage the celebrations leading up to and including 2014, the Pembroke Dock Bicentenary Group.

This group wish to appoint an events’ organiser and fund raiser to help the group achieve this ambition. This role will include collating all the proposed events and making an effective and realistic project plan so that these events will take place as and when desired by the group. This plan will need to be monitored and changed according to need.


To run alongside this project planning the successful person will need to be able to seek funding for grants to enable the events to take place. This person will also be responsible to follow through on any successful grant applications with regard to the required feedback to the grant funder.

This is to be a self-employed post. The post holder will be responsible to the Bicentenary Group and will be expected to report progress on a regular basis. The post holder will be paid on a monthly basis by cheque in arrears.
