Military in miniature as model club takes off
The Army, Navy and Air Force have all returned in force
to Pembroke Dock - in model form.
Military might in miniature is being created as the
Penfro Model Club gets airborne, its members drawn from
various parts of Pembrokeshire.
Several of them are volunteers for the Pembroke Dock
Sunderland Trust, at the very popular Flying Boat Centre
and its Archive Centre.
Club members meet monthly, usually at the Priory Centre,
Monkton, and recently held their first competition
evening when several excellent models and dioramas were
on view.
Penfro Model Club has its own website
www.penfromodelclub.co.uk and welcomes modellers of
all skills, abilities and interests. The Club can be
contacted through Martin Blow 01646 680270 or Derek
Lawrence 01646 621708.
