Taking Pride in Pembroke Dock

The residents of Pembroke Dock recently showed pride in their community by taking part in a litter pick organised by Keep Wales Tidy as part of the nationwide Tidy Towns project.

Volunteers from St John’s Community Hall, local residents and staff from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority rolled up their sleeves and got dirty as they tackled litter in Pembroke Dock in a bid to tidy up the town, removing a total of 12 bags of litter.

The Tidy Towns Project supports the people of Wales to improve the quality of their local environment and it is hoped that the project will lead to a Cleaner, Safer and Tidier Wales.

If you would like to join a group or want more information on Tidy Towns please contact Mari Williams on 01646 681949.
