Community Cooking Day Success

On Wednesday 19th October over 50 people from the age of two to 82 attended a community cooking day held in Pembroke Dock Youth Centre and organised by Llanion Communities First and Bush and Park Tenants and Residents Association.

Everyone chipped in to help make a wide variety of healthy food from fresh ingredients. Children from Pembroke Dock Community School and Pembroke School Autism Unit got stuck in helping to arrange flowers, decorate the tables, and make coleslaw and salads.

At the end of three hours of hard work everyone sat down together to enjoy the meal they had prepared. We would like to thank all the volunteers that helped on the day, the youth centre for letting us use the facilities and other community groups and organisations that helped make the day possible.
