Take time for a Tea Break!

Take time to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake this St David’s Day to raise money for environmental charity Keep Wales Tidy. As part of the Tidy Tea Break, the Pembroke Dock office will be hosting a get together to celebrate St David’s Day. The proceeds from the event will enable staff and volunteers to continue their work with schools and communities across the country.

Since 1972, Keep Wales Tidy has been one of Wales’s leading community-based environmental charities.

As well as tackling issues such as littering, fly tipping, dog fouling, graffiti, fly posting and vandalism, Keep Wales Tidy promotes sustainable development, community food growing, access improvements, conservation work and biodiversity. Living in clean and tidy surroundings promotes self-pride and increases public confidence as well as reducing the risk of crime.

Keep Wales Tidy ambassador Michael Sheen has pledged his support and says:

“Wales is a beautiful country so let’s all do our bit to keep it looking that way. Take part in Keep Wales Tidy’s Tidy Tea Break and raise money to help us restore community pride and feel good about where we live.”

If you would join us the event takes place at Keep Wales Tidy’s Pembroke Dock Office, 1st Floor Captain Superintendents Building, The Dockyard, SA72 6TD  from 10am-2pm on March 1st. Contact  01646 681949 for further information.
