Country & Western singer
Bobby D Sawyer was a big hit with the local line
dancing clubs when he visited the Pater Hall on July
30th. The busy venue had a
great night's entertainment dancing the night away.
Linda Gwyther from the Cleddau
Mustangs Club provided supporting music ensuring the
dance floor was full all evening long.
Proceeds are going towards Hall
improvements which will be starting in the next six
months under the guidance of the trustees of the Pater
Hall.
Coming up next is local Cabaret
act Janita - Pembroke Dock's own talented performer who
always gets the crowds up dancing. If you haven't seen
Janita entertaining and you enjoy live music and a
shuffle around the boards, then this is the night for
you. She is in great demand on the cabaret circuit and
people pay three times the price for her Gala
performances compared to this local show. Janita is
kindly supporting the Trustees raise funds for the hall
where she first went to classes and learnt to sing and
dance at an early age.
September 17th is the date to
remember and tickets are available now from the Station
Inn or Trish on 681230. Tickets are £6 and there is a
licensed bar.
